Being a “Dance Dad”, John Meehan began editing music for his daughters’ dance studio in 2012. Since then, he has edited for numerous dance studios, and has also entered the world of winter guard editing. Bringing his compositional mind to editing, John is able to create seamless transitions, edits, and layer complex voiceovers, as well as add original music to produce the ultimate final product.

(Sittin’ on) the Dock of the Bay (Winter Guard Edit)

This edit was done for the Miamisburg World Color Guard in 2025. Multiple live versions of Sara Bareilles’ rendition of (Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay” were used, as well as original layered music to blend, and other techniques to maximize the design and performance of the guard.
